Dimapur, July 18 (MExN): A 63 KVA transformer, replacing a defective 25 KVA was installed at F Khel, Sovima on July 16.
The transformer was purchased by Sovima Village Council and installed by the Power Department, Chümoukedima division, Government of Nagaland.
Team Sovima 21-26 led by chairman interacted with residents of the colony and told them to diligently pay power bills to the department so that consumers can demand from the government rather than failing to pay bills but expect uninterrupted power supply.
“Our state government purchase electricity and supply us, and if we consumers do not pay bills for the units of power we consume each day, how can we blame the department or government for not paying supplying parties thereby disrupting power supply?,” the chairman said and made an appeal to “Pay up religiously, expect regular supply of electricity.”
